  • Hello!
Brunch all week at La Petite Production
February 7, 2017

On a cold Sunday morning, we were craving comfort food and warmth. We were also in a testing mood, and what a perfect timing! I had info a few weeks ago about the opening of La Petite Production, near Flagey. Awesome, a new brunch place, but not just any kind of brunch place: this one serves brunch every day. Every. Day.

Simply put, I’ve always been thinking to myself that, if I were to open a food place, I would open one serving brunch all day, every day. And of course, I’d call it “The Brunch”. So when I heard that someone was opening a brunch-all-week spot in Brussels, I couldn’t resist and needed to test it asap!

We got lucky, we arrived there just as a group of people were leaving their table. Since they don’t take bookings at La Petite Production, that was a good surprise. The staff is super welcoming, the tables are long, there are kids running around and that coffee smell… It feels like home. The place has a modern and refined vibe with warmth brought by materials like wood and exposed bricks. Formica chairs add a touch of color to the space.

On the menu, you, brunch lover, will fond what you need. Eggs (any kind), bacon, pancakes, sausages, French toast, maple syrup all over, beans, pastries… What you need.

But before that, you’ll read their manifesto. On top of the menu, the LPP team has written down what they’re all about and what they believe in, and their strict no bullshit policy is damn refreshing. They favor local suppliers, short circuits, seasonal products from organic or sustainable agriculture. And as they write, “it’s very simple, here, everything is homemade on a daily basis. And just to be clear, we don’t use a microwave nor do we buy our products at Metro“… wink wink to another well-known “organic” Brussels brunch place?

Last but not least, the coffee. Do you know My Little Cup, one of the best coffee places in Brussels? Well, it’s the same guys behind La Petite Production, and of course the same coffee. Simply put, it’s the best flat white you’ll find in town.
